What do I know about the Hogarlabs Dehumidifier

When I first had the opportunity to try this dehumidifier, I really liked its appearance, it looks quite stylish and interesting. I had a white one with a black panel and a slightly reflow side panel, and most importantly I liked its high performance.

It worked silently, it seemed to me so at the edges, since I did not hear it at all, I put it on automatic mode all the time and for me it was what I needed, I definitely did not plan to go down 10 times to the basement and adjust the humidity. I specifically chose to have an automatic mode. Well, being certified by Energy Star was a prerequisite for me.

I have a damp rather large basement in the house and 50 pints and had enough with my head. I needed a dehumidifier in the basement, because the things that I keep there, in my case, shoes, were covered with mold and it bothered me. Since mold is quite dangerous and I keep the things I need. In general, absolutely everything suited me, but I’ve been using it for less than a year. So keep that in mind. I don’t know yet how it will work in 5 years. But it’s quite high-quality, as it seemed to me.

Now it’s the turn for the Midea Dehumidifier

I bought a Midea dehumidifier for my living room. But don’t let it bother you that Midea is for the living room, and Hogarlabs is for the basement. It doesn’t mean anything at all. I needed to go to the basement in the first place and I came across Hogarlabs, and decided to buy another brand in the living room. I always give different brands a chance. I have completely different appliances from different brands at home and I am absolutely satisfied with it.

ALSO  Dreo vs Whynter

But back to our dehumidifier, I also have this one at 50 pint. My living room is of medium size and it is absolutely enough for me. I get a runny nose from the humid air and just need a dehumidifier for normal life at home. Of course, I downloaded the application for remote control, which is very convenient and generally modern. I love such things in technology and they just seem necessary to me in some conditions. Although I like to turn it on myself. not through the app. But it’s just my preference. To each his own.

What can I say from the sound – I’m not particularly sensitive to sounds, I definitely don’t mind a little pleasant sound, I don’t like silence anymore. But it seems a little louder than Hogarlabs. Although it may just seem like Hogarlabs is in the basement and Midea is nearby.

Externally, it looks quite attractive, I had a completely white color and looked pretty enough, I definitely like it. It is compact and easy to move if you want to put it somewhere else. There is a panel on top for setting all kinds of modes, I almost always have comfort mode. It suits me, I tried it and it was just right for me. And of course, the prerequisite is Energy Star, I always search only with this certificate.
